5x10 to 7.5x10

Choose a 5x10 for a 1-bedroom apartment or a 500-square-foot house. The size of a walk-in closet, a 5x10 will hold packed boxes alongside smaller pieces of furniture.

10x10 to 10x13

A 10x10 is perfect for a 1-bedroom home. The size of a small, one-car garage, it will hold bedroom, household items and major appliances, but homes with more bulky items may need to size up.

10x15 to 10x19

A 10x15 is great for homes with two to three bedrooms. A 10x15 unit can hold several bedroom sets, many boxes, major appliances and bulky furniture items. You will need at least this size for a 1000-square-foot house.

10x20 to 10x25

Choose a 10x20 for a 3-4 bedroom or 1500-square-foot home. These units will hold a refrigerator, washer, dryer, three mattress sets, a dining room set, bookcases, couches and boxes. This size will also store a car.

10x30

A 10x30 will fit a 5-7 bedroom home. The size of a one-and-a-half-car garage, it will hold bedroom sets, furniture and appliances. Boats, trailers, RVs, and other vehicles will need this amount of space.
